Employers' Development Initiatives Leave Room for Improvement
CLEVELAND - January 13, 2010 - According to a recent study of Northeast Ohio employers conducted by ERC, many employers believe their current programs or initiatives to develop high potentials within their organizations are only moderately effective (42%). Approximately one-third of employers say their program is slightly effective and no respondents said their current program/initiative was very effective. In addition, on average, 33% of employees have been promoted in organizations’ current programs.
