ERC Launches Workplace Practices Survey

Cleveland– For the ninth consecutive year, ERC and Smart Business Magazine are collaborating on the 2008 ERC/SBN Workplace Practices Survey. The survey compiles data on local trends in regards to organizations’ general workforces as well as benefits, compensation, recruiting, hiring, communication, training, development, and safety practices. Over the past nine years, the survey has been instrumental in capturing the most current local workplace trends.

“We are proud to once again join forces with Smart Business Magazine to compile and report data on local workplace trends. Through our partnership, we are able to provide local companies with comprehensive and current information in regards to the various workplace practices present in the market so that organizations can stay competitive and make positive business decisions,” says Marty Mordarski, Director of Research and Membership at ERC.

The survey is open for participation now through May 16, 2008. Any organization in Northeast Ohio is invited and encouraged to participate. Organizations can visit www.ercnet.org/survey/schedule.asp if interested. The survey results will be published in Smart Business Magazine in August of 2008 and will be made available to all ERC members.
