ERC to Launch Third Study on Online Recruiting

Cleveland – Next week, ERC will publish its 2007 Online Career Center Study. The study, conducted in collaboration with CareerBoard.com, is the third report on the state of online recruiting in Northeast Ohio that ERC has released since 2003.

A few highlights of the 2007 report include:

• ERC’s observations of 3,449 corporate websites (compared to 1,763 in 2005)
• A Careerboard.com survey of over 1,600 job seekers, conducted in conjunction with the study, suggesting that many are interested in staying in Northeast Ohio
• Ideas and suggestions designed to help employers improve their Online Career Centers
• Information about new innovative recruiting techniques in the marketplace today

The study, which will be free to the general public, will be published on the ERC website at www.ercnet.org/research/studies.asp. It will also be posted on the NorthCoast 99 website at www.northcoast99.org/careercenters.asp alongside archived information from the previous two reports.
