Our consultants can assist in developing a new employee handbook from scratch or making practical recommendations for enhancing your current handbook. We focus on compliance with current federal and state employment regulations, and ensuring that your handbook is effective in communicating the policies and procedures that are vital to managing your workforce. We’ll also be sure that your handbook mirrors your organization’s culture and reflects the brand portrayed in your employee recruitment efforts. Below are the levels of service that we offer:
Review only – We provide a basic review of your existing handbook focusing on compliance, communication effectiveness, consistency, style and format. Recommendations are drafted in a written report with step-by-step details for implementing our suggested changes.
Review & Revision – We complete a comprehensive review of your existing handbook, identifying any missing or out-of-date policies. Following your approval of the proposed changes, we update the necessary policies and present a final draft of the handbook electronically to you.
Complete Handbook Development - Drawing from a wealth of best practices data, we work with you to develop a complete handbook by customizing policies needed to support your workplace. Emphasis is placed on meeting compliance standards, reflecting your organizational culture, as well as style and format. Once you approve the final draft we’ll send you an electronic copy that will allow you to make changes on your own, as needed, without paying for each update. We’ll provide recommendations for roll-out of the handbook to employees and will even print the handbook for you upon request.
