What is The Capstone Group at ERC?
The Capstone Group is the customized training and development arm of ERC that specializes in providing workers at all levels with new skills and strategies that will enable a company to meet its challenges and accomplish its objectives well into the twenty-first century. Prior to 2005, The Capstone Group was an independent firm owned by Chris Kutsko and Tony Tomanek. Chris and Tony joined ERC in 2005 and brought with them all the resources and training expertise that earned the Capstone Group the reputation as the number one training and development firm in Northeast Ohio.

Capstone employs a "whole system" method to approaching workplace change that strikes a balance in all elements of the organization. Capstone uses sound instructional design strategies to ensure that the focus of the training is on the learner, not the trainer. Capstone believes that no one learns anything when their
eyes are glazed over with boredom. All of Capstone's sessions stimulate
people by engaging them in lively, interactive activities that
enlarge their capacity for thinking and responding. It doesn't matter what it takes - blocks, puzzles, Legos, Tinker Toys or
paper frogs - participants actually get to participate.
But its not just about fun - just for the sake of having a
good time (at least, not on the job). Each session
challenges participants to take a fresh look at old patterns
of thinking and working and apply new learnings to the participants' day-to-day
worklife.
