Finance for Non-Financial Professionals
This class is designed to increase the financial acumen of any non-financial professional so they can make better financial decisions to positively impact their company. Supervisors cannot have a financial impact in their company if they do not understand how their organization makes money, the financial ratios that executives use to accept or reject projects, and the financial results of their organization. This seminar provides non-financial professionals with an understanding of financial principles, terminology, ratios, and financial statements to:
- Understand accounting/financial terminology and principles
- Read and understand their company’s financial statements
- Speak competently to executives about the organization’s financials and business
- Identify projects, cost saving opportunities, and revenue opportunities for their departments to positively affect net income/revenue, measure the impact, and present a competent business case to their executives
- Create and manage a budget
