Description
This two-day course is designed to address the needs of staff accountants with a basic knowledge of accounting but with limited professional experience. Participants will gain knowledge and skills to be more productive and profitable on audits, reviews, and compilations by covering topics including analytical procedures, detailed audit tests of balance sheet accounts including cash, receivables, inventories, fixed assets, other assets, accruals, and debt.
This course will also discuss how compilations and reviews differ from audits, as well as the procedures needed to perform both compilations and reviews. A portion of the course will be dedicated to understanding basic audit objectives.
Through this interactive course, attendees will gain knowledge and skills they can immediately put into practice in their engagement teams.

This course qualifies for 16 CPE Credits in Ohio.
ERC Refund Policy
Pre-registration and payment is required for all ERC programs. If a guest has registered and is unable to attend the program, they will be instructed to notify ERC’s training hotline immediately at 440/947-1300, training@ercnet.org. Based on the circumstances, one of the following accommodations will be made:
- We will invite them to send a substitute attendee. OR
- We will hold and apply their program payment to another ERC training program of their interest (or a later date for this program.) OR
- If neither of these accommodations will work, ERC will issue the guest a refund minus 15% administrative fee.
