Description
Examine the theory and application of the three approaches to business valuation in detail, along with the calculation used in these methods and their application to growth and acquisition plans. Explore the various components of capital and sources of information for estimating costs of capital. You'll walk away understanding the Asset Pricing Model and the cost of capital in increasing the value of business.
Objective:
Understand and apply the valuation concepts to growth and acquisition opportunities with the result of determining their impact on the value of a business.
This course qualifies for 8 Continuing Professional Education credits in Ohio.
Type of credit: Management
If you notify the Society of your cancellation up to 14 days prior to the course date, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel or transfer 13 days or less of the course date, you will receive a full refund less $50, unless otherwise stated. If you cancel on the program date or do not show up for the program, you will receive no refund. If the Society should cancel the program, the full course fee will be refunded to you. If you paid by check, the refund will be in the form of a credit which can be applied to another course. If you paid with a credit card, the refund will be credited to that card. Late fees and/or nonmember fees may apply to transfers and substitutions.
ERC Refund Policy
Pre-registration and payment is required for all ERC programs. If a guest has registered and is unable to attend the program, they will be instructed to notify ERC’s training hotline immediately at 440/947-1300, training@ercnet.org. Based on the circumstances, one of the following accommodations will be made:
- We will invite them to send a substitute attendee. OR
- We will hold and apply their program payment to another ERC training program of their interest (or a later date for this program.) OR
- If neither of these accommodations will work, ERC will issue the guest a refund minus 15% administrative fee.
