ERC’s HR University enters it’s ninth year with a new format and additional sessions. Courses included within the HR University program offer developmental opportunities for HR Professionals at all levels. Participants represent a mix of industry and experience levels. In addition to classroom instruction, sessions include a significant amount of class discussion and peer-to-peer learning opportunities.

Flexible enrollment programs are designed to accommodate the needs of both individuals and their organizations. Although there are no pre-requisites for any HR University session, a Core Curriculum is recommended for new HR professionals, or those who have received limited formal HR training. Electives are offered for professionals to tailor their learning to match their individual development needs.

HR University instructors are widely respected as some of the most talented instructors in the Human Resources and Professional Development fields in Northeast Ohio.

Special savings are offered to organizations or individuals registering for multiple sessions at one time (this can also include multiple participants from one organization.)

  • One to three sessions: Full session price as listed
  • Four or five sessions: Save 20% off total bill

Front Line Leadership
Today’s work environment demands highly skilled frontline supervisors different from the command-and-control leaders of the past. People are not interested in working for someone who just gives orders daily and conducts evaluations annually. Today’s employees are looking for leaders who develop, support and coach them and keep them engaged.

In this series, participants learn the managerial and interpersonal skills necessary to handle all leadership interactions—including those that are emotionally charged—along with the ability to apply both of these skill sets in any leadership setting or interaction. Frontline Leadership focuses on execution and results. Over the program’s series, participants implement the skills, tools and templates that are required for success: their own and their team’s.

Sessions include:

  • Frontline Leadership: A New Role
  • Communicating as a Leader
  • Conflict: Strategies for Success
  • Leadership, Teams, and Teamwork
  • Employment Law for Supervisors
